Statistics have it that during the Memorial Day weekend, tons of Americans do make their way through the various roads and go to different vacation spots. Estimates even say that around 38.3 million citizens are going to drive more than a hundred miles and take full advantage of the holiday and the sun. But despite the excitement, travelers and motorists should still be able to keep in mind the basics of driving, especially during this season when most people are also on the road.

The first tip is to be smart so that you would be safe. And this just means that with the onset of various types of technology that assists drivers and motorists find the easiest way to their destination, following directions given by these gadgets would be the easy way to make the travel shorter and more fun.
